Farm Trials of Miarom lntest L increasing Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) in broilers

Across three practical trials conducted on a conventional broiler fattening farm in northwestern Germany, Miarom lntest L consistently demonstrated an enhancement of 4.5 points in Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) within the trial group as compared to the control group.

The farm site is equipped with two houses, each capable of accommodating 20,000 broilers per cycle. One house served as the control group, while the second house functioned as the trial group. Following German tradition, a mixed flock of ROSS 308 Birds was employed for fattening, with each cycle spanning 40 days. A standard three-phase feeding regimen, comprising starter, grower, and finisher feeds in pelleted form, was implemented.

Throughout each cycle, Miarom lntest L was administered three times (during the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weeks) for a duration of three days, at a ratio of 250 ml per 1000 I of drinking water in the trial group. The control group did not receive any Miarom lntest L.

Feed Trial of Miarom lntest L increased FCR in weaned piglets

A field trial was conducted in the north-western part of Germany to evaluate the impact of Miarom lntest Lon performance indicators of weaned piglets. The trial included 1561 piglets (DANBRED x Pie 408), divided into 2 groups: one control group (without phytogenic supplementation) and one trial group (100 ml Miarom lntest L per 1000 I of drinking water from day 0- 28 and 50 ml Miarom lntest L per 1000 I of drinking water from day 29- 49). Both groups were observed for 49 days and weighed on the same 4 days.

The trial showed a significantly improved feed conversion ratio (FCR) in the trial group, resulting in a higher return on invest with Miarom lntest L.
