CONTENTS

During your training, you will learn about all areas of warehouse logistics. When goods are received, you will check the entire delivery for completeness and integrity and check the accompanying documents. The goods are then stored in the appropriate storage area using a forklift truck. For shipping, you will pick the deliveries, prepare the necessary accompanying documents, and load the goods. At the beginning of your training, you will also have the opportunity to obtain a forklift license. The difference between a warehouse logistics specialist and a warehouse clerk lies in the duration and content of the training. In the third year of training, warehouse logistics specialists also learn the basics of business administration.

As a machine and plant operator, you will be primarily responsible for machines and plants. During your training, you will learn how to set them up, convert them, and operate them. Since you have chosen to focus on food technology, you can expect to work with production machines for the manufacture of food and additives in animal nutrition at our company. Here you will learn how to set up equipment for the production process, operate the largely automated systems, and monitor the measuring instruments in order to detect deviations and intervene if necessary. During your training, you will mainly work in the canteen and, as part of a team, prepare lunch for around 200 people every day. Your training will also include planning, optimizing, and purchasing food, cleaning textiles, and keeping rooms clean and tidy.

The training lasts three years. If you achieve good results, you can follow up with an apprenticeship as a housekeeper (m/f/d) with a shortened training period. Classes take place twice a week in the first year and once a week in the second and third years in separate specialist classes. The intermediate exam at the end of the second year of training covers basic qualifications in domestic services. The final exam mainly covers the specialist tasks taught in the third year of training in a specific area of operation.

CONTENTS

During your training, you will mainly support the team in the canteen, where around 200 people eat lunch. You will learn the basics of housekeeping. This includes planning, optimizing, and purchasing food, cleaning textiles, and keeping rooms clean. In addition, seminars/training courses are offered at the Chamber of Agriculture, which you can attend.

At regular intervals during your training, you will rotate between departments such as export, financial accounting, purchasing, marketing, and internal sales. There you will take on a variety of activities and be given tasks for which you will be responsible. You will support various company processes, from order initiation and processing to customer service after delivery of the goods.
