MIAVIT GmbH, headquartered in Essen (Oldb.), Germany, was founded in 1964 and is now in its third generation of family ownership. The guiding principle of our family business has always been and remains “Prevention Instead of Medication.” The name MIAVIT is an acronym for the key minerals, amino acids and vitamins contained in our premixes. As a competent partner in the fields of feed, additives, minerals and vitamins, we offer a high-quality and diverse product portfolio available in powder, paste and liquid forms.

Our Products

We offer a wide range of animal nutrition products for both ruminants and livestock, including pigs, cattle and poultry, as well as for companion animals such as dogs and cats. Our decades of experience are reflected in the high quality of our products. All products are manufactured with utmost precision in our modern production facilities and are continuously tested by certified laboratories. Modern and environmentally responsible animal nutrition always remains our focus. In addition, we work exclusively with reliable and certified suppliers.

Making an Impact Worldwide
For the benefit of animal health, MIAVIT operates worldwide today. In addition to our headquarters in Essen (Oldb.), Germany, we have three further production sites in Tarragona (Spain), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Izmir (Turkey), as well as additional offices in Nairobi (Kenya) and Gdańsk (Poland). Our products are distributed in more than 90 countries, and our export share amounts to 50 percent.
Never Standing Still
We are continuously growing and constantly evolving. For this reason, profits are regularly reinvested in research and production. In recent years, the MIAVIT site in Essen (Oldb.) has more than doubled in size: 13 independent computer-controlled mixing lines are in operation, storage capacity has been expanded, a new FSSC 22000-certified liquid production facility has been established, and an additional modern office building has been constructed. The company continues to grow steadily. Modern production facilities, high standards and qualified employees ensure continuous progress and ongoing development.
